Pete had Finley in his wee Hong Kong dragon suit; he was still teethy but a bit less upset than on the wedding!
It was sunny but windy and I had a queue of small people waiting for more glitter tattoos and wanting to see what my face-painting was like.
(Glitter tatts are painted or stencilled on with cosmetic glue which you let dry then coat with cosmetic glitter - waterproof and lasts up to a week).

Some people were playing (cricket? I think) but mainly just 'relaxing as they were 'tired' on the sofas or lawn.
Most of the Brits went off to do a jet-boat ride, which was apparently very fast as expected, but Finley, Heather & I stayed behind. And watched a couple of the lads fixing a big hole in the wall at the bottom of the stairs - apparantly 'table surfing' happened to it.

It was a gorgoeus day, but a bit nippy...
As everything was packed up, we realised Brian had gone boating with Kates car-keys, stranding us all; luckily someone went to collect the keys as even more luckily, Brian realised as they got on their boat and hid them on the wheel of the car they had gone in!
Everyone was pretty tired & emotional so the next few days were quiet...
Kates neighbours looked in and were shocked to see she already ahd a bay the day after the wedding...

What I will mention now, though we actually did it a week or so later, was the beautiful 'sky lantern' Heather had bought as their wedding pressie. They are big versions of the wee paper ones I had seen, and we all decorated them in pen for Kate & Andrew. H had checked the sky was clear, and that there was a heavy dew (big fire risk around here - road signs tell you how severe the danger is daily), and they are just paper so are biodegradeable.
Kates neighbours were having a big BBQ so they all came out to an empty 'seek-shoon' next to the houses and Heather explained what they were to do. Basically, you light a paraffin soaked rag that is wired to the base and hold the paper bag of the lantern open above it until it fills with hot air.

Then as they really took off, we had a group of them so high they formed a new constellation, with everyone oooh-ing (not in HK any more- no more waah-ing).
